Mindicot offers two primary ways to establish trump: Katte Mode and Hide Hukum Mode. While both require players to strictly follow suit, how and when the trump card is exposed completely shifts the bluffing strategy.
1. Katte Mode Mechanics
In Katte Mode, the moment a player cannot follow suit, they declare the trump suit out loud (or click their chosen suit in Mindicot). From that trick forward, everyone knows the trump suit, and the trick is won by the highest trump card played.
2. Hide Hukum Mode Mechanics
In Hide Hukum Mode, the dealer places one card face down at the start. When a player runs out of a suit, they can choose to open the hidden card. The suit of that card instantly becomes trump, creating surprise counter-plays.
